Design Lead

Managing the workflow within Valken's design department (both in-house and vendors) while taking the lead on complex projects from idea to production. Utlizing excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines efficiently for multiple concurrent projects while under pressure and changing parameters/inputs.

Valken Print Design

Created designs for posters, flyers, brochures, and other marketing collateral utilizing print-ready files for digital and print production. Coordinated with internal marketing department and external vendors to source print materials and products.

Valken Web Design

Creatied the overall look and feel of a website, including layout, color schemes, typography, and graphics, ensuring the website is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and provides a positive user experience. Designed visual elements such as logos, icons, and images used on the website.

Valken E-Mail Marketing

Worked with the Marketing Director to helps drive effective communication and engagement through digital channels, developing & implemening strategic email marketing campaigns to reach and connect with the target audience utilizing Oracle's Netsuite CRM, Mailchimp and Klaviyo to create and manage email lists, and creating visually appealing email templates with Photoshop, HTML & CSS.

Leading the creative team of Valken Sports, one of the biggest names in the Paintball and Airsoft industry, for the past 3 years to ensure final design products across multiple medias, including print, web, e-mail and packaging.

Overseeing and reviewing all elements from an international team of designers, from the initial conception to final delivery

PROBLEM

Valken needed a Senior Graphic Designer with Web & Email Design Experience to lead a Brand Refresh for the Post-Covid Paintball & Airsoft Market.

SOLUTION

Using previously established Brand Identity assets, brought Valken's Catalog library from ideation to print through a combination of In-House Digital-Press and Vendors. Managed the creation of Valken's new suite of Websites for Retail and Wholsesale both Domestic & International.

Promoted to lead the design team and work with the Marketing Director to create and implement Email and Social Media Campaigns.

Full Website Redesign with Custom Wordpress CMS

The Final Product

This website provides visitors with an intuitive and aestheticly pleasing interface, allowing them to quickly find desired information while also providing the Client with an extensive amount of content control.

The Before

This website was in need of a complete redesign to facilitate effective interaction between the Client and Visitors.

Customized Event/Calendar CMS

The Client required an additional Content Management System ( in addition to the scratch built Wordpress Theme that I built for them ) to handle their extensive Event Calendar. An existing and popular CMS called LibCal (by springshare ) was utilized by the Client and then integrated into the redesign after customization.

Integrated API Data into Website

Extensively customized and integrated the LibCal API Event information to be displayed on the front page of the Client Website.

A complete redesign of the Monroe Township Public Library's website to greatly increase user experience, modernize aesthetics/interface, and provide content management capabilities to the client.

It is a custom built Wordpress template with a streamlined Content Management System and LibCal API Event Calendar.

PROBLEM

Aestheticly outdated design with limited abilities for the Client to create and/or edit content. Poor User Interface/Experience.

SOLUTION

Redesign revolving around providing the client with the ability to create and edit content as well as improvements to the interface and ease-of-use for visitors. Integrated an additional 3rd party CMS allowing Client to manage their Calendar and Events.

The Final Product

A slick, modern design that is concise in it's message and aestheticly different than the majority of competitor website.

Identity & Website Creation

Starting from a previous design idea, a new logo was created and used to create business cards, electronic signatures and website mock-ups.

Focused Content

The custom Vector Graphics and Copywriting were designed to distill technical information into easily digestable portions that Visitors could easily relate to.

The creation of a Company Identity, marketing material and website for Bellia Technologies. The primary focus was to convey technical services to Visitor's in a way that felt natural and conversational, as well as providing an interactive form for said Visitor's to initiate contact with the Client.

PROBLEM

The Client needed to form a unique brand identity and service's website that significantly deviated from those of competitors.

Adobe Photoshop Examples

A collection of pieces created in Adobe Photoshop for different clients in the past. The first piece was published in the Shadowrun 4th Edition Role-Playing Game's ( Catalyst Games ) supplement book called "Street Magic". This is just to show that I am familiar with Photo Manipulation and able to create Digital Art.

Adobe Illustrator Examples

A collection of pieces created in Adobe Illustrator for the Shadowrun 4th Edition Role Playing Game system ( Catalyst Games ). These pieces... and additonal pieces.... were published in several of the Shadowrun books, including the 4th Edition Core Rulebook, "Arsenal" and "Street Magic". This is just to show that I am familiar with the creation and manipulation of Vector Graphics.
